SUMMERTIME AND THE GRILLING’S FINE! Juicy, perfect cheeseburgers on a bun with ketchup and fixin’s; NEUTRAL on the Metabolism Miracle!

Summertime and the grilling’s fine! Sure it’s easy to “throw some burgers on the grill.” But you have to admit that formed burger patties thrown on a grill do not taste the same as grilled burgers at the local bar and grille. Here are some tips on grilling PERFECT burgers. Give it a read and try the tips!

RECIPE for PERFECT CHEESEBURGERS on 0 Countable Carb burger buns!

1.Buy 80/20 ground sirloin or ground chuck. No low fat or lean burgers when you are using the grill! The fat gives the juicy grilled flavor! Using lean ground beef will give you dry, tasteless burgers.

2.Form your burgers from ground beef. Don’t buy pre-formed burgers.

3.Use high direct heat and keep the grill open during cooking

4.Form your ground burger into a tennis ball size….gently flatten into a burger-shape, but don’t make it “tight.” After your burgers are formed, put a thumb imprint indentation in the center of each. This indent prevents burgers from bloating up during the grilling process. Don’t overwork the meat! Make a ball, gently form into a loosely packed burger, and put a thumb imprint in the center.

5.Do not push the burger down with your flipper. Never squish your burger with a spatula or flipper while they are griller. If you push the burger down and flatten it out….you remove its juiciness and make the meat tough. The thumb indentation in the center of each burger will keep it from bloating up.

6.Seasoning? Recommended: kosher salt, freshly ground black pepper, maybe a bit of garlic powder on both sides of the burger. Some pour a little Worcestershire sauce in the thumb imprint.

7.Cook on the hottest spot on the grill. After about 5-6 minutes on the grill, look on the top of the burger. Are juices forming? Good, give it a flip for another 3 minutes or so. ONLY FLIP ONCE!

8.Internal temperature: 160 degrees for ground meat.

9.Add cheese, remove from the grill and let the burgers sit for about 5 minutes. During the time, brush the inside of the buns with olive oil, place on the warmer rack of the grill (oiled sides down), and heat for 1-2 minutes.


10.Place burgers on zero countable carb burger buns!!!
