Make your morning coffee taste like Holiday Happiness with this Low Carb Peppermint Mocha Coffee Creamer!
As a fan of flavored coffee creamers, I’m always checking the refrigerator section for new flavors. I usually pass on the flavored creamers because they contain about 5 grams net carb per Tablespoon. That’s 1 tsp of sugar in each Tablespoon. Add three Tablespoons to your coffee and you are drinking a complete “serving” of carb…equal to a slice of toast, a piece of fresh fruit, a lite yogurt.
This is a great answer to your craving for flavored coffee creamer. AND…this creamer is neutral on The Metabolism Miracle and The Diabetes Miracle! Oh JOY!
The recipe is derived from a compilation of flavored creamer recipes…and is just perfect for the holiday season!
Chocolate Peppermint Creamer
Makes 16 ounces (1 pint or 2 cups)
- 8 ounces half and half
- 8 ounces unsweetened almond milk
- 5 tbls cocoa powder
- 2 tsp pure peppermint extract
- 5 tbls Splenda or Stevia
Place all ingredients in your blender and whip it up until everything is smooth and combined.. Pour into a container and refrigerate. Shake it up before using!
