SOS….We are Losing the Battle for Children with Type 2 Diabetes.

ImageRead the article, then the reply, and understand why!
Yes, we are losing the battle against obesity, type 2 diabetes, type 2 diabetes in children, the progression of metabolic syndrome to pre diabetes to type 2 diabetes. The study lasted 4 years and the participants were divided into 3 groups:
  • Metformin M
  • Metformin and Avandia
  • Metformin, traditional diabetes diet focused on weight loss, exercise

The results showed that no method worked to successfully manage diabetes.

This makes perfect sense to me and the reason it did not work for the children is the same reason none of the above really work in the long term for adults with type 2 diabetes.

The tradtional caloried based diet prescribed for those with type 2 diabetes…lower calories, low fat, (higher percentage of carb grams due to low fat restriction) actually speeds the progression of insulin release, insulin resistance, and pancreas/beta cell fatigue.

So, although the kids were medicated and apparently eating as desired (no diet/exercise was mentioned for groups 1 and 2) or medicated with intensive diet/exercise program aimed at weight loss….if the core diet was WRONG….all was for naught.

Please, please, please….can we do studies with children, adults, young adults, geriatric patients, men, women….and in each separate study, replace the traditional diabetes diet protocoll with the Diabetes Miracle protocol of diet/exercise. I am certain that the results will be astounding in terms of:

  • long term weight loss
  •  glucose stability
  • decreased A1C, total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, triglycerides, blood pressure, blood sugar, and increased HDL and Vitamin D levels

The issue of young children being diagnosed with diabetes is especially serious because, if uncontrolled or not properly controlled, years of high blood sugar will cause heinous complications.

I implore those who have funding for reseach regarding putting an end to the epidemics of obesity and type 2 diabetes to put Metabolism Miracle and Diabetes Miracle through the most scrupulous testing. The answer is there….We owe it to our children and ourselves to prove that the RIGHT diet/exercise can prevent and control obesity/diabetes…but the current diet/exercise protocol has caused an epidemic.

Whenever it arrives to losing weight, presently there are so many exercise routines that you can employ to manage healthy weight. Generally there are also several dietary supplements that can help you a lot in losing weight. As you can see, healthy weight is very important to ensure longevity and avoid health concerns in the future.

Exercise routines, physical activity in general, is very important to attain and maintain health. People who have a “normal BMI” or a higher than “normal BMI” can get healthier with daily exercise. I recommend a MINIMUM of 30 minutes physical activity over and above your normal activity a minimum of 5 days/week.

Dietary supplements: You have to be certain that you are supplementing with something credible and necessary for health. Just taking a supplement in no way assures health. Wonder why there are links built into your message?
